SAD DEATH AT SHERMAN
Robert, Little Son of John Locke and Wife, Dies After a Brief Illness

Robert, the ten-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. John Locke, died this morning at the home of his parents in Sherman after an illness of only two or three days.  Little Robert came over to Bonham Tuesday of last week to visit his grandmother, Mrs. Riley Inglish, and other relatives. The little fellow complained Friday of being ill, and Friday night a physician was called in.  He grew worse Saturday and suffered a slight paralytic stroke.  Mr. and Mrs. Locke came down Sunday from Sherman and took the little fellow home.  Little Robert grew steadily worse, and died last night.  It is believed he suffered a second stroke of paralysis that reached his heart and produced death.
Robert was a bright child, kind and affectionate, and his death is indeed a sad blow to his loving father and mother and other relatives.
The funeral will be held tomorrow at 9 o'clock at the family home in Sherman, the burial to take place immediately after.
The Favorite extends sympathy to the bereaved ones in their hour of sadness.
