Sherman - Funeral services for Willie Earl Carr, 54, of Sherman, who died May 11, 1995, at Wilson N. Jones Hospital, were held Saturday afternoon at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Sherman.  Bishop Allen Larson officiated.  Burial was in West Hill Cemetery under the direction of Boyd-Smith-White Mortuary.
Carr was born June 11, 1949 in Whitewright, son of William Carr and Francis Carr.  He attended Terrell High School.  He worked for the City of Sherman.  He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in the Marine Corps.
Survivors include his mother; daughter, Brenda Williams of Weisbaden, Germany; son, Jason Luper of Sherman; 4 step-sons, Charles Gentry of Denison; Keith Potts of Dallas; Robert Potts of Texas; and Bill Potts of California; 3 brothers, Richard Carr of Bells; Wiley Goodman of Wichita Falls; and Charles Carr of Sherman; 3 sisters, Francis Wilson and Evelyn Patterson, both of Sherman and Mary Goodman of Denison; and 3 grandchildren.
Pallbearers were friends ofthe family.
