Dallas Morning News June 25, 1926 page 8 Brown, Sherman, Texas, June 24 - James Nelson Brown, 64 died at his residence here. Funeral services were held Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. S. W. Williams of the Travis Street Methodist Church. Burial was in West Hill Cemetery. He is survived by 4 children, Ray Brown, Wichita Falls; Jim Brown, Warren Brown and Miss Myrtle Brown, all of Sherman. He is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Mamie Tayman, Sherman. Mr. Brown had made his home in Sherman since 1870, coming here from Columbus, Mississippi.
