Burton 1906 - 1924 The Denison Daily Herald Wednesday, February 7, 1908 pg. 3 The Death Roll Sherman, Texas, Feb. 7 - Mrs. Ada Burton, 20 years of age, died at her home on West Tennessee Street, this morning at 3:35 o'clock after an illness of several months duration with consumption. She will be buried tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock at West Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Burton, who was formerly Miss Ada Harris, was the wife of a well known young business man of Sherman, John Burton of the firm of Burton & Cowan, and was very popular in a large circle of friends, who regret her death and sympathize with the young husband.
