Tom Snell Died This Morning at Plainview

In a telegram from Mrs. Tom Snell to Mrs. A. W. Hopkins of this city, this afternoon it was stated that her husband, Tom Snell, died at Plainview, Tex., this morning of tuberculosis, after an illness of several years. The remains will be shipped to Denison and should arrive Monday. Interment will be here.

Tom Snell was the son of W. H. Snell of Sherman. He was a photographer and was for many years associated with his father in that business in both Denison and Sherman. He left Sherman last July for Plainview. During his residence in Denison, deceased was active in the social affairs of the younger set. He was a member of the old Denison Rifles and fifteen years ago was captain of that organization. His knowledge of military tactics and his pleasing manner made him a world of friends among the old Texas Volunteer Guard.
