Sherman, Tex. - Funeral services for James  Henry Alexander, Sr., 71, carman for the Frisco Frisco Railroad in Sherman, will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Dannel Funeral Home.
Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Alexander died Monday at a Sherman hospital after suffering a heart attack while working on the Sherman rip track.
Mr. Anderson was born in Savoy, Fannin County.  He came to Sherman in 1918 from Commerce.  He began working for the Frisco March 28, 1918.  He married Leora Calhoun in 1933 in Sherman.  Mr. Alexander was a member of the Key Memorial Methodist Church  and the Brotherhood of Railway Carmen of America.
He is survived by his wife; one son, James Henry Alexander, Jr. of Dallas; five brothers, Carl Alexander and Oscar E. Alexander, both of Sherman; O.D. Alexander of Austin, Joe Alexander of Dallas and Thurman Alexander of Memphis, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. J.S. Stephenson of Fort Worth and Mrs. Jessie Fay McMeanus.
