REMAINS OF MISS HARRIET M. PHILLIPS BROUGHT HERE FOR BURIAL
Miss Harriet M. Phillips, formerly of Sherman, died at Fort Worth Thursday evening at the home of J.E. Wallace, No. 506 South Lake street.
Funeral services were held there at 4 o'clock this afternoon, conducted by Rev. B.B. Ramage, director of St. Andrews' Episcopla church.
The body will be shipped to Sherman for interment in West Hill Cemetery and the funeral will be from the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dick Hopson, No. 71 North Travis street at 3 o'clock tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon.
Miss Phillips was well known in Sherman.  She was the daughter of the late M.M. Phillips, once postmaster of Sherman and served the postoffice here as money order clerk during her father's incumbency.  She was a fine woman, possessing most loveable traints of character, and the news of her death will be learned with deep regret in Sherman.
For the past several years she has made her home in Fort Worth, with her sister, Mrs. J.E. Wallace.
Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. J.E. Wallace and Mrs. C.S. Dulin of Fort Worth; Mrs. Gus Foute of Dallas; and Mrs. Dick Hopson of this city.  The sorrowing relatives have the sympathy of all in their bereavement.
