Britt Sherman Daily Democrat Wednesday, July 16, 1916 pg. 4 MRS. F.A. BRITT DEAD Passed Away This Afternoon at Her Home Near Sherman Mrs. F.A. Britt, wife of Col. W.G.B. Britt, died at 12:30 o'clock this afternoon at her home just south of Sherman at the end of Travis street, after a lingering illness. She was 86 years old and had resided here for 24 years. She is survived by the following sons: W.F. Pink and P.J. Britt of Sherman and Henry A. Britt of Morrellton, Arkansas. She had been a member of the Methodist church for many years. The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock at the family residence.
