SUDDEN DEATH OF A CHILD
Little Otis Rorex Expired This Morning While Seated At Breakfast Table

Sherman, Texas, January 2 - Otis Rorex, the 2-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. ?.P. Rorex of Prosper, died at the residence of his grandparents, Rev. and Mrs. C.L. Ballard, No. 1015 East ...berry street, shortly after 7 o'clock this morning.
The little fellow was apparently ill a few moments before his death occurred, and had been put up to the breakfast table.  After taking a few mouthfuls of food, he choked up and died before medical aid could be secured.  A physician answered a hurry call promptly, but death had claimed the victim when he arrived.
A week ago last Sunday, while Rev. Ballard and his wife were visiting at Prosper, the little one swallowed a portion of a walnut shell, and for a time was in a very bad condition, but the surgeon secured the hull and the child seemed to recover rapidly.  On the return of Rev. and Mrs. Ballard, Mrs. Rorex, who is their daughter, accompanied them home, bringing the little fellow with her.
This death was a great shock to every member of the family, as there had not been the slightest indication that the child was not doing all right.  The father was communicated with at once, and arrived in the city from Prosper on the Frisco passenger due to arrive in Sherman at 1:20 p.m.  The funeral arrangements have not been announced.
