William Floyd Manuel, 84, of Sherman, Texas passed away on the morning of October 24, 2022.  He was born on June 20, 1938 in Ada, Oklahoma; he came from a large family with 9 sisters, 6 older and 3 younger than him. 
He
married Mary Ruth Christina on May 25, 1956.  They were married for 65 years and together they had one son born to them in 1957. 
Mary Ruth Manuel, 79, of Sherman, Texas passed away on December 18, 2021, due to pneumonia brought about by Covid 19.  She was born on February 5, 1942 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to a large family of 5 brothers and 5 sisters.  Mary Ruth preceded her husband in passed only 10 months before the good Lord called him home to spent the rest of eternity together.  Both of their deaths were related in one way or another to the terrible scourge of Covid 19's devastating effect upon this world.
They, with their young son, moved to Whitesboro, in North Texas in the spring of 1969.  Floyd started a termite and pest control business of which he operated for over 25 years, covering a 15-mile area in all directions including the Lake Texoma area, north of Whitesboro, until health problems required him to sell out the business and retire.
They are both survived by their son, William Derrell Manuel and wife,  Pam, of Sherman, Texas; granddaughters: April Manuel-Neill and husband, John, and daughters, Maggie and Gracie Neill of Ft. Worth; grandson, Dustin Darrell Manuel and wife, Carrie, and son, Kaleb and daughter, Anna, of Anna, Texas; and stepdaughter, Delayna Michelle Tonubbee; Haley and husband Chad, and daughters, Presley Ann and Logan Remi, and young son, James, of Howe, Texas.
