Sherman - A Celebration of Life for Cobina Maxine Watwood, 72,  was held Tuesday afternoon, March 13, 2012 at Pathway Church of God with Pastor Bill Lee officiating.  Interment followed at West Hill Cemetery.
Cobina was born June 6, 1939 in Decatur, Texas, daughter of William Earl Pittman and Ruby Mae Rose Pittman and went to meet her Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 10, 2010 in Denison. 
Cobina was retired from Sherman ISD in 2001 from working in the cafeteria.
Ms. Watwood was a Godly and faithful member of Pathway Church of God where she was very involved in church work.  She loved reading the Bible, listening to the Word, and "hummed" because of the joy she had in her heart.  Being with her family was everything to her and she often told her family, "Keep looking up to Jesus."
She was preceded in death by her parents; her two husbands, James Simpson Lester and Carless Eugene Watwood.
She leaves behind daughter, Tina L. Lester of Lufkin; sons, James Lester and wife, Laura, of Marshall; Gene Watwood and wife, Kem, of Pottsboro; Grandchildren: Mandy Lynn Thomas; Heather Fields; Jennifer Lester; Ashley McNabb; Rachel Elardo; Chris Lester; Alexandria J. Watwood; Dalton C. Watwood; and Timothy J. Watwood;
7 great-grandchildren and 2 best friends, Sister Killman and Shirley Dixon.
Pallbearers were Dalton Watwood, Timothy Watwood, Tyler Rhodes, Tanner Rhodes, Tye McNabb, Chris Lester, Brad Thomas and Michael Elardo.  Honorary pallbearer was Blane Thomas.
Services were under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home.
