Wednesday, September 9, 1874 pg. 2 Sherman News From Our Special Correspondent Septembe 9, 1874, 12 M. One of E.K. Allen's twins, about 2 years of age, died yesterday, and was buried to-day. Denison Daily News December 24, 1876 pg. 5 We regret to learn of the death of Mr. E.K. Allen, of this place. Mr. Allen died in Sherman at 5 o'clock Saturday morning, of typhoid pneumonia, after an illness of only 2 weeks. Mr. Allen had been in the employ of Mr. D.W.C. Davis for several years, and has many friends in this city. Mrs. Allen is lying very sick in Sherman, of the same disease, and fears are entertained that she can't recover.
