 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas Sherman - Mrs. Lynch, 87, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018 at her home in Sherman.
Ruth Ann was born September 16, 1930 in Savanna, Oklahoma, daughter of Robert and Jewel Moore Cheek. She worked at Texas Instruments for 23 years and enjoyed spending time with her children and granchildren in retirement. Ruth Ann will be remembered by her friends and family as a godly woman. She is survived by 7 children: Richard Lynch, Russell Lynch, Celia Lynch, Debra Lynch, Robert Thompson, Rogert Thompson and Rhoda Thompson, all of Sherman; one sister, Carol Baxley of Sherman; 18 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Herbert Junior Lynch; brother, Bobby Wayn Galbreath; son, Joe Burton Lynch; grandson, Jason Freeman; and nephew, Christopher TOlley. Funeral services for Ruth Ann Lynch were held Thursday afternoon, February 1, 2018 at Waldo Funeral Home. Burial followed at West Hill Cemetery with Roger Thompson, Robert Thompson, Charles Jackson, Richard Lynch, Russell Lynch and Joe Lynch serving as pallbearers.
