Monday, November 27, 1916 pg. 5 The body of Mrs. Carrie Roberts, who died in Riverside, California, last Monday arrived in Sherman over the Texas & Pacific Sunday morning at 11:17 o'clock. Burial was in West Hill cemetery direct from the Union passenger station. Rev. Cheek of the Forrest Avenue Baptist Church conducted the funeral and the following acted as pallbearers: W.A. Harvey, Harry Tone, Oscar McQuarters, Joe F. Etter and Lon Tuck. Haynes & Sporer had charge of the funeral arrangements.
