 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas The Denison Daily Herald Thursday, March 28, 1907 pg.3 NECROLOGICAL Sherman, Texas, March 28 - Thomas C. Shearer, living near Choctaw, 8 miles east of Sherman, died yesterday morning, after a long illness with paralysis. He was buried in West Hill Cemetery this morning, Rev. J.P. Robertson, pastor of the College Park Presbyterian Church, conducting the service. Mr. Shearer was 59 years old,. He is survived by his wife and 4 children. The children are: Swain Shearer, John Shearer, Frank Shearer, all of whom resided at home with their parents and Mrs. R.C. Stephens of Denison. One granddaughter, Miss Ruth Shearer, also made her home with her grandparents. Mr. Shearer was a native of North Carolina, but had lived in Grayson County many years.
