 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas The Howe Messenger Friday, November 3, 1939 pg. 8 Funeral Services for Mrs. Gertrude Walker Funeral services for Mrs. Gertrude Walker, 59, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ora Robertson in Sherman at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday were held Thursday afternoon, Rev. H.L. White, pastor of the Forest Avenue Baptist Church of which Mrs. Walker was a life long member, officiated. Burial was in West Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Walker is survived by her husband, J.E. Walker; 3 daughters; one son; 10 grandchildren; 3 sisters and 3 stepchildren. She was an aunt of C.B. Johnson of Howe, who officiated as funeral director.
