for Artie Haggard Thomas of 315 N. Burdette, who died Friday in Wilson
N. Jones Hospital, were held Monday morning, in the Grand Avenue
Presbyterian Church. Rev. Patrick McCoy of Grand Avenue
Presbyterian Church officiated and burial was in West Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Guan Smith, Tom Kimes, Jack Morris, Walter
Morrison, Vinson Shields, and Jerry Bylander. Arrangements
were under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home. Mrs. Thomas was born in Madill, Oklahoma, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Coby Haggard and married J.B. Thomas in Sherman. She was employed by Quaker Oats Company and later Anderson Clayton Foods for 30 years. She was a member of Grand Avenue Presbyterian Church. Surviving are her husband; brothers, George Haggard of Mckinney, Mason Haggard of Denton, and Carl Haggard of Abilene; and sister, Dullie Steinbaugh of Fort Worth. Memorials may be made to the Grand Avenue Presbyterian Church, Sherman, Texas.
