Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at Johnson-Moore Chapel with Albert G. Brown, a nephew of Mrs. Wilson, officiating. Burial followed at West Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Freddie Brown, Cary Brown, Ricky Grimes, Eddie Thompson, Joe McClaran, Sonny Weiser, and Mark Ellis. Mrs. Wilson was born August 25, 1920 in Pottsboro, daughter of Albert Sidney and Sallie Cowherd Brown. She graduated from Denison High School and married Nolie A. Wilson on June 29, 1940 in Durant, Oklahoma. They were married 52 years until his death. She was a homemaker and member of the Church of Christ faith. She was known by all her grandchildren as "Granny", "Granny Bitsy" or "Granny Ocars" and to her family as "Pete." Survivors are sons Gary L. Wilson and wife, Cheri Streetman; Jerry W. Wilson and wife, Dawn, of Allen; sister, Dorothy Grimes of Pottsboro; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren with one due in June of 2011. Preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Mary Thompson and Geneva Thomas; brothers, Albert W. Brown; Jack Brown; Charles Brown and Ralph Brown.
