Sherman - Funeral services for Kelli Lee Reagan, 15, of Sherman were held Wednesday evening, October 9, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Sherman.  Dr. Mike Lawson and Rev. Jason Thurston officiatted.  Burial took place Thursday morning, October 10, 2013 at West Hill Cemetery in Sherman, Texas.  Arrangements were under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman.
Kelli passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Children's Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
She was born September 22, 1998 in Wichita, Kansas.  She grew up in Wichita, Kansas and moved to Sherman started in the 2nd grade.  She loved reading, writing short stories, coming up with ideas for new stories and most of all Kelli had a passion and love for music.  She was a member of the Sherman High School Choir, earning many awards including Most Dedicated, Gifted and Talented Program, the Sign Language Program; and Kelli was an active member of First Baptist Church of Sherman; Upward Cheerling, and the Awana Group.  She loved the group Big Time Rush and considered herself a Rusher.
In spite of having asthma and many severe food allergies, she never looked down on life.  Kelli just said that God had made her special.  She continued life by becoming a donor.  Her life was based on her love of God, music, family and friends.
She is survived by her mother, Carrie Reagan, of Sherman; sister, Kylie Marie Reagan; brother, Joshua Dean Reagan; grandparents, Dennis and Sulynn Reagan; aunts and uncles, Donella and David McConkey; Cherry and Jim Henson of Wichita, Kansas; Cindy Bishop of Azle; and Dr. Doug and Christi McConkey of Sherman; and numerous cousins and friends.
She was welcomed to Heaven by her great-grandparents, Everett and Louise Bishop; and Lee and Ethel Reagan; with uncles, Patrick Bishop and Richard L. Reagan.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Kelli's memory to further research at the National Allergy and Asthma Association at 8201 Corporate Drive, Suite 1000, Landover, Maryland 20785.
