DEATH OF R.H. READ
A Well Known and Popular Frisco Engineer

R.H. Read, 40 years of age, locomotive engineer in the employ of the Frisco railway, passed away at 444 North East street shortly before 6 o'clock last evening after an illness of several days; he had been confined to his bed, however, aboutt a week.  The immediate cause of the death was heart trouble.
He has resided in Sherman about 20 years, coming here from Galveston.
He had been with the Frisco about 8 years and was a member of the B. of L.E.
He is survived by his wife and 5 small children: Horace, Phefie, George, Earle and Minnie.  His mother and 3 sisters reside at Galveston.
The funeral services will be conducted at the residence tomorrow, Saturday morning at 10 o'clock under the auspices of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers, after which the funeral and burial at West Hill cemetery will be directed by Haynes & Sporer, undertakers.

Earl the little 3-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. R.H. Reed [sic], residing in East Street died at 10:20 o'clock this morning after an illness of several days.  The funeral service will take place tomorrow afternoon from the family home and interment will be in West Hill Cemetery

The funeral of Earl Reed [sic], the little 3-year-old son of Mrs. R.H. Reed, who died in the family home in North East street yesterday, will take place this afternoon at the home and services will be conducted by Rev. Forrest Smith, pastor of the First Baptist Church.  Interment will follow in West Hill Cemetery.

Stella, the 15-months-old daughter of Mrs. R.H. Reed [sic], residing in North East street, died at an early hour this morning after an illness of several days' duration.  Pneumonia superinduced by measles was the immediate cause of the child's death.  The funeral will take place in West Hill Cemetery.

The funeral of Stella, the 15-months-old daughter of Mrs. R.H. Reed [sic], who died yesterday morning at the home in North East Street, took place yesterday afternoon and were conducted by Rev. Forrest Smith, pastor of the First Baptist Church.
