Sixty-two-year-old Drice Roy Smith of Sherman died Thursday morning from injuries sustained in a March 2 wreck in which his bicycle and a car collided.
Mr. Smith was bicycling southbound on Loy Lake Road, when a 1981 Chevrolet operated by Pamela Renee Smith, 23, of Sherman was traveling southbound on Business Highway 75.
Ms. Smith's car hit the bicycle Mr. Smith was operating and threw him to the ground.  Mr. Smith sustained severe head and leg injuries.
Mr. Smith was taken to Wilson N. Jones where he stayed until his death Thursday from injuries sustained in the wreck, said Capt. L.D. Gudgel of the Sherman Police Department.

Gravesude services for Drice "Bugs" Smith of Sherman, 61-year-old musician who died Friday in Wilson N. Jones Hospital from injuries received in an accident, were held Monday morning in West Hill Cemetery. Rev. Danny Wood of West Sherman Baptist Church officiated.  Jack Brown assisted.  Pallbearers were J.L. Burgin, Bobby R. Geesling, Bill DeJarnett, Luther, Thompson, Jerry Bryson and Layne Lewter.  Arrangements were under the direction of Dannel Funeral Home.
Mr. Smith was born in Sherman, son of Roy Smith and Laura Dodson Smith, and attended school in Sherman.  He was a member of a band and played the guitar in the area.  He was a Baptist.
Surviving is his brother, Orville Smith, of Sherman.
