CITIZEN OF EAST SHERMAN DIES SUDDENLY SUNDAY MORNING
John W. Childs died suddenly at his home, No. 600 Wells avenue, about 5 o'clock Sunday morning, death resulting from heart trouble.  Mr. Childs was 67 years of age and had made this city his home for the past 19 years.
Funeral services have not been announced, pending word from several out-of-tow relatives,  Burial, however, will be in West Hill Cemetery.
The deceased is survived by his wife, Mrs. Emma Childs, and the following children: Mrs. R.T. Newton of Grapevine; J.B. Childs of Snider, Oklahoma; John T. Childs and Mrs. J.A. Walden of Dallas; Mrs. H.C. Moffitt of Ohio; J.F. Childs of Chattanooga, Tennessee; and Jesse C. Childs and Mrs. George Banks of Georgia.  Also a brother, J.M. Childs, of Alabama.
Mr. Childs was a native of Jones county, Georgia.  His death occurred on his 48th wedding anniversary.  He was formerly employed as a dray man with the Knox line, and was well respected by all who knew him.  The family have the sympathy of a large number of friends.
