SHERMAN ATTORNEY DIES MONDAY
Sherman - Death at 9 p.m. Monday claimed O.D. McReynolds who was known as a leader of the bar of North and East Texas.  He was stricken suddenly last Wednesday noon at his office in the Merchants and Planters bank building and had been critically ill since then.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday from the residence, 600 North Woods, conducted by Dr. Conway T. Wharton of Austin and interment was in West Hill.
Mr. McReynolds was born November 23, 1872 at Jefferson, son of J.P. McReynolds, a major in the Confederate Army and Mary T. McReynolds.  He came to Sherman in 1893, since which time he has practiced law here.  He received his education at Cumberland University in Tennessee, taking both literary and law degrees.
