Sherman, Texas, March 8 - Mrs. Mary McGrew, wife of Josh McGrew, long-time resident of Sherman, died Wednesday evening.  Funeral arrangements have not been announced.
Surviving are 3 daughters, Mrs. F.E Yeager of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Mrs. Gordon Smith of Wichita Falls, Texas; and Miss Bethel McGrew of Sherman.

Joshua McGrew, 77, a pioneer Sherman resident and a retired carpenter, died Saturday at his home here, where he had lived for the last 41 years.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon with burial at West Hill Cemetery in Shermaqn, Texas.
Mr. McGrew was born November 2, 1860 in Grayson County, Kentucky.  He came to Sherman from Kentucky at the age of 21 and has resided here since.  He was married in 1890 to Miss Mary Lillian Southern, who died in Sherman in 1933.  Mr. McGrew was a carpenter for 30 years and retired about 15 years ago.  He was a member of the Sherman Carpenters' Union.
Surviving are 3 daughters, Miss Beth McGrew and Mrs. F.E. Yeager of Sherman and Mrs. Gordon Smith of Ft. Worth; 4 grandchildren, Frank and Mary Alice Yeager of Sherman, Edna Earl McGrew of Shreveport, Louisiana; and Gordon J. Smith of Ft. Worth.
