 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas Dallas Morning News March 2, 1939 Funeral services for D.L. Sexton, 75, who died at his home, were conducted Thursday morning. Burial followed in West Hill Cemetery. Born in Illinois, he moved to Texas 60 years ago. He was married in Ft. Smith, Arkansas, August 11, 1895 to Miss Mattie Ray Thomas. They came to Sherman from Weatherford 23 years ago. He is survived by his wife; 2 brothers, Jiles Sexton of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and Ed Sexton of Bloomington, Illinois; and a sister, Mrs. Eva Marion of Oklahoma City.
