Mrs. Annie English Dies of Pneumonia

Sherman, Texas Jan. 3 -  Mrs. Annie English, 48 years old, wife of Dr. C.M. English of this city died at noon Sunday following a short illness with pneumonia. She is survived by her husband  and two sons, Jack English, a student at Austin College and Carr English, attending school in Dallas.
Mrs. English was the only daughter of the late Dr. Carr Pritchett, for many years a president of the Sam Houston State Teachers College at Huntsville. She also is survived by her mother and the following brothers; Dr. J. E. Pritchett, Houston; John W. Pritchett, member of the State Board of Water Engineers, Austin; Lucian Pritchett, a teacher at Southern Methodist University, Dallas, and Rufus Pritchett, a chemist, Albany, N.Y.
Mrs. English was well known in civic work in Sherman and in Travis Street Methodist Church Circles.
