 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas  Billy Thomas White 28 October 1920 - 27 November 1 994 Virginia E. White 18 July 1922 - 21 May 2015 wed 7 June 1941  Sherman - Virginia White passed away in the early morning on May 21, 2015. Graveside services were held Tuesday afternoon, May 26, 2015 at West Hill Cemetery in Sherman. Waldo Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Virginia was born in Hope, Texas on July 18, 1922, daughter of Charlie and Emma Kerby Munson. She was one of 7 children. She attended school in Yoakum, Texas before moving to Corpus Christi where she met Billy Thomas White. They were married on January 7, 1941, five months after meeting. They were married 53 years before his death in 1994. Virginia was a very active member of the First Methodist Church in Sherman for over 55 years. She became a member of the Eastern Star in 1968. She was also active in several other organizations in Sherman. Virginia is survived by 2 children: Don White and wife, Cathie, of Ft. Worth, Texas and Kay White Orton of Katy, Texas; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Earline Grant of Portland, Oregon; sister-in-law, Jane Ann Gayden of Corpus Christi and numerous nieces and nephews.
