Services for Beulah Patton were held on Friday afternoon, November 3, 2017 at Dannel Funeral Home.  Pastor Leland Samuelson officiated. Interment followed at West Hill Cemetery, Sherman, Texas.
Buelah F. Patton, 91, passed away peacefully at her home in Ionia, Michigan on October 27, 2017.  She was born June 19, 1926 and grew up in Sherman, Texas and graduated from Sherman High School in 1943.  She worked at Knight Furniture Co. as a bookkeeper for several years.  In 1946 she married James W. Patton and they had 3 children.  James was a mechanical engineer.  Shortly after James died, she moved from San Antonio, Texas to Ft. Worth to be closer to her eldest daughter.  She continued raising her youngest daughter and to care for her aging mother.  In 1985 she became a caregiver of children and retired in 2001.  In 2007, Beulah moved to Ionia, Michigan to live with her daughter.  She was a devoted Christian with a gentle, loving spirit and a beautiful heart.  She loved gardening, cooking, sewing and going to craft/antique stores.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathy and son-in-law, Fred Tinney of Springtown, Texas; and Donna and son-in-law, Thomas Rossborrom, of Ionia, Michigan; grandsons, Blake and wife, Hilary Patton, of San Antonio, Texas; and James and wife, Tony Hopper, of Little Rock, Arkansas; granddaughter, Brandy and husband, James Doty, of Denison, Texas; great-grandaughters, Paige Patton of San Antonio; Nicole and husband, Kirk Taylor, of Calera, Oklahoma; Ashley and husband, Addison Coffman, of Denison, Texas; and great-great-granddaughter, Kyleigh, of Calera, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Col. Scott Patton; parents, Willie Pierce Cook and Peal Dona Cook; brothers, Noel Cook and Bill Cook; sisters, Dorothy Moore and Margaret Blackwell.
