The Herald Democrat May 9, 2014 Dallas - Herman Lee Layne, Jr., 86, of Dallas passed away Sunday, April 27, 2014. Graveside services were held Saturday, May 3, at West Hill Cemetery, with Pastor Leland Samuelson officiating. Herman is survived by his son, Ronald Lee Layne of Denison; one sister, Betty Musal of Sherman; one granddaughter and two nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society. Local arrnagements were under the direction of Dannel Funeral Home.
