 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas Child Falls in Kettle of Hot Water Causing Death Special to The News, Sherman, Texas, March 22 - Melvine Renfro, two and a half years old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T.F. Renfro, residing at the Houston & Texas Central Section House in south Sherman, died last night at 10:40 o'clock from the effects of scalds received five days ago when she fell in a kettle of boiling water and was scalded from the hips down.
