 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas  James L. Callhan 1919 - 1976 Febbie L. Callahan 1920 - 2021  Feebie Lorene Callahan passed away December 7, 2021 in McKinney, Texas at the age of 101 years, 9 months and 22 days. Febbie was born February 12, 1920 in Stephens County, Oklahoma. She was the 8th child of John James and Sarah Catherine Jackson Friend. She married James Lenwood Callahan on April 17, 1944. They were married almost 32 years before his pasing on March 16, 1976. Feebie was part of the "great generation, living through difficult times, giving much and expecting little. She was a member of Northpark Baptist Church. Though frugal in her living, she was always very generous in giving gifts to her family. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Duke and husband, Larry; her son, Gerald Callahan and wife, Linda; grandchildren: Trenna Waw and husband, Eddie; Jim Callahan and wife, Kristen; and Crystal Fine; 2 wonderful great-grandsons, Dylan and Brandon Fine; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Lillie, Floy, Belle, Vetty, Roxie, Stella, Dollie; and brothers, Willie and Earl. A graveside service was held Thursday morning, December 9, 2021 at West Hill Cemetery, officiated by Rev. David Murphy, pastor of Northpark Baptist Church. Arrangements were under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman. - - - Waldo Funeral Home   James L.
