 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas  Jackie Lynn Smith 1943 - 2011  The Herald Democrat February 11, 2011 Jack Lynn Smith, 68 year old Collinsville resident, passed away February 8, 2011 at Christian Care Center. Mr. Smith was born in Sherman on January 16, 1943, son of J.W. Smith and Katherine Smith Wineinger. He graduated from Sherman High School in 1961. He married Retha Ann Roberts in 1960; they celebrated their 50th anniverary in October 2010. Jack was a window clerk with the Sherman Post Office for 24 years after 7 years in the Lewisville Post Office. He retired from the Postal Service in 2004 due to illness. He was a member of the Mason's Lone Star Lodge 403. He was a coach and commissioner of his boys' little league baseball in Lewisville. He referred high school football and umpired high school baseball. Jack loved his beautiful family and took pride in them. He is survived by his wife of 50 years; son, Bill Smith and wife, Brenda; son, Steve Smith and wife, Rosemary; son, Rick Smith and wife, Randi; daughter, Kristi Smith Kelly and husband, Ray; grandchildren, Anthony Pacheco and wife, Nikki; Randi Pacheco and fiance, David Colvin; Jessica Smith; Codi Smith; Jaclyn Smith; Bailey Smith; Mackenzie Smith; Taylor Kelly; and Madison Kelly; great-grandchildren, Ryan Bigler; Devin Colvin; Cade Brenner; and Ethan Brenner; brothers, Robbie Smith and Ted Wineinger and wife Cindy; sisters, Debbie Evans and husband, John; Kathy Garland and husband, Paul; Tammie Overturff and husband, David; and Sandy Bruno; numerous nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Lil Roberts Orbin; and sister-in-law, Connie Sonner and husband, Maurice. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Terri Ann Smith; father, J.W. Smith; mother, Katherine Smith Wineinger; stepfather, Ted Wineinger; and brother, Kerry Micahel Smith. Graveside services were held Saturday noon, February 12, 2011 at West Hill Cemetery in Sherman. Arrangements were under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home. If desired, memorials may be made to the Socttish Rite Children's Hospital.
