Funeral services for former Sherman resident, Leslie L. Stone, 84, of Stephenville, who died Saturday, November 14, 1998 at his residence in Stephenville were held Monday afternoon, November 16, 1998 at First Baptist Church in Stephenville.  Rev. Dan Murray officiated with assistance from Buddy Wells.  Interment followed at West Hill Cemetery in Sherman under the direction of Lacy Funeral  Home in Stephenville.
Survivors include his wife, Polly O'Hara Stone of Stephenville; daughter and son-in-law, Don and Susie Coan of Stephenville; brother and sister-in-law, Clyde and Loretta Stone of Bedford; sister-in-law Bella Stone Huffman of El Paso; 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services for Gladys Pauline Stone, 97, a homemaker were held Monday afternoon, November 11, 2013 at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Donna Bowman officiating.  A reception followed the service in the Fellowship Hall at First Baptist Church.  A graveside service was held Tuesday afternoon, November 12, 2013 at West Hill Cemetery in Sherman, Texas.  Arrangements were by Lacy Funeral Home.
She was born in Sherman, Texas on August 22, 1916, daughter of George W. and Lena Pearl Cartwright O'Hara.  She married Leslie Leo Stone on February 19, 1938 in Oklahoma Citty, Oklahoma.  
She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Stephenville, P.E.O. and Ms Investors.
Survivors include her son-in-law, Richard Don Coan and wife, Veleda; grandchildren, Steven Stone Coan and wife, Jill; and Leslie Coan Rocha and husband, Kevin; great-grandchildren, Christopher Steven Coan, Grace Anne Coan, Benjamin Coan, Joshua Coan, and Caleb Coan; sister, Katherine Sodowsky of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; brother, George W. O'Hara of Tennessee; a special family, the Nicholas and Lucia Herandez family of Madrid, Spain; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; an infant son, Ronald O'Hara Stone; and daughter, Susie Coan.
