Thursday, May 4, 1922 pg. 6 MRS. VIOLA STEPHENSON DIES AT HER HOME NORTH OF DENISON: BURIAL HERE Mrs. Viola Stephenson, wife of Jim E. Stephenson, died at the family home 3-1/2 miles north of Denison Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock. The remains were brought to Sherman Thursday and funeral services were held Thursday afternoon from the home of Mrs. Stephenson's brother-in-law, C.D. Imbert, 618 South Austin street. Burial was in West Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Stephenson is survived by an infant daughter, born Tuesday night, and one other child, besides her husband; mother, Mrs. Annie Shelton of Denison; a brother, Otie Corzine and 4 sisters, Mrs. Carl Shelton and Misses Fay, Flora and Jewell Corzine. She was 22 years of age. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. L.S. White, pastor of Walnut Street Church of Christ.
