were held Thursday afternoon in the Waldo Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs.
Minnie D. Vincent, 89, of 915 S. Maxey, who died Tuesday in a Sherman
nursing home. She was 89 years, 8 months and 4 days. Services were conducted by Rev. R.M. Williams of the East Sherman Baptist Church with burial in West Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Vincent was born at Tom Bean, daughter of David Wade and Ellen Lawrence. She married John Henderson Vincent July 30, 1904 at Tom Bean, Texas. She was a member of East Sherman Baptist Church. Survivors are her husband; daughter, Trula and her husband, J.N. Morrow of Sherman; sons, Herman Vincent of Sherman and Jack P. Vincent of Odessa, Texas; sister, Mrs. Pat L. Jenkins of Tulsa, Oklahoma; brother, Homer Parrish Lawrence of Sherman; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
