 The Herald Democrat October 7 - 8, 2010 Sherman - Services for Annie B. Trotter. 87-year-old resident of Sherman, were held Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Greater New Hope Baptist Church with Dr. Rayford E. Malone, pastor, officiating and Rev. M.L. Walker, eulogist. Mrs. Trotter passed away Sunday, October 3, 2010 at Texas Health Presbyterian-WNJ in Sherman. Mrs. Trotter was born March 13, 1923 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, daughter of Roy and Lola Daniels. She attended Fred Douglass High School. She married David D. Trotter, II and he preceded her in death. She retired from Austin College after 20 years. Annie loved the Lord and was a long-time member of Greater New Hope Baptist Church. She will forever be remembered for her caring love. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Mrs. Trotter is survived by her sons, David D. Trotter, III, Reuben Trotter and Lyndon Trotter (Vanessa), all of Sherman; daughters, Joyce DeHorney of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Carol Godwin (Robert) of Sherman; aunt, Addie Boddie of Frisco; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
