Herbert White, son of John G. and Samantha "Mattie" Stafford White,
married Florence Edna Minnis, January 12, 1902 in Grayson Co., Texas;
they had two children, Doyle and Jewel White, both born and died 1903.
Florence Edna Minnis White is buried in Collinsville Cemetery,
Collinsville, Grayson County, Texas. James married Una Vey (Vae) "Mimmie" Gainer, December 22, 1928 in Collin Co., Texas; no children were born to this union. Herber was listed as an "orphan" in the Grayson Co., Texas 1900 census. His brother, William, and sister, Minnie, were living in the same household at the time. John S. and Eliza J. Dickey cared for them after the death of their parents. His brother, Luther, was living with his aunt, Louisa White Conner, not far away, also, in Grayson county. Another brother, Allen Lester, was being cared for by his uncle, B.F. White, in Franklin Co., Texas. James and Una are buried in the Old Cemetery at West Hill Cemetery, Sherman, lot 188A in the northwest corner; James' burial site is unmarked.
