INFANTILE PARALYSIS
Mr. and Mrs. James Wallace's Child the Victim

The first case of infantile paralysis of this year developed in Sherman today, the 9-months-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Wallace of No. 312 West Jones street being stricken with the malady in its most violent form.
The case came under the observation of Dr. Andrew Swafford and was at once reported to the city health officer, Dr. W.D. Poe, who has quarantined the premises and reported the case to the state health officer.
This is the second case to appear in the county, the other case developing at Gordonville about 2 weeks ago.
The child here is reported to be in a critical condition and the physicians in attendance state that its recovery is very doubtful.
