Funeral services were scheduled for Tuesday at 4 p.m. at the Barrett Funeral Chapel for Madison Monroe Tully [Tuley], 79, who died Monday at 3:40 p.m. in a Sherman hospital.  He lived at 121-1/2 E. Houston.  Rev. J.L. Gregory of Van Alstyne was to conduct the services assisted by Rev. C.G. Graves of Sherman.  Pallbearers were Delmar F. Canon, Clifford McClendon, Marvin Wooten, Horace Bailey, Claude Lackey, G.F. Ball, Loren Ferguson, and Ray Fogle.
Mr. Tully [Tuley] was a native of Nashville, Tennessee and a son of Joseph Tully [should be David Paul Tuley].  His late wife was the former Susie Howard Roberts.  He came to Texas 66 years ago and to Grayson county 48 years ago.  He was a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Vera Franklin, Mrs. Esther Smith, and Mrs. Wade Smith, all of Sherman; Mrs. C.K. McClendon of Leonard; and Mrs. E.H. White of Farmington; one son, Raymond Tully [Tuley] of Ennis; and ten grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. M.M. Tuley, 69, who died at her home at Farmington Tuesday at 4:15 p.m. as the result of a brain hemorrhage, were held at the Barrett Funeral Home Thursday at 3 p.m.  The body remained at the funeral home until time of services.  Rev. Jim Gregory, pastor of the Greenville Baptist Church, officiated.  Pallbearers were Ed Thompson, Ernest Reacer, R.D. Anderson, Bayard Sewell, P.C. McClendon, and Ray Fogle.  Burial was in West Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Tuley was born in Murray County, Tennessee, August 26, 1878, the daughter of T.H. and Fannie Crowell Roberts.  She came to Texas 52 years ago and to Grayson county in 1908.  
Survivors are her husband; five daughters, Mrs. Vera Franklin of Sherman; Mrs. E.H. White of Howe; Mrs. C.K. McClendon of Era; Mrs. Paul Smith and Mrs. Wade Smith, both of Sherman; one son, Raymond Tuley of Ennis; four brothers, Cliff Roberts of Sherman; Grover Roberts of Hot Springs, Arkansas; Herman Roberts of Midlothian; Rich Roberts of California; two sisters, Mrs. Cora Borner of Desota, and Mrs. Lydia Dollins of Cedar Hill and ten grandchildren.
