 Whitewright Sun January 22, 1979 Services was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Waldo Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Lorena Waldo Locke, 73, life long Grayson County resident who died Sunday at a Sherman hospital. Services were conducted by Olden Cook of the Travis Street Church of Christ, with burial at West Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Locke was born in Grayson County, daughter of the late George W. and Naomia Scott and was married to the late R. R. Waldo in 1922. She married Ray Locke in 1962. She attended Tom Bean schools, was a member of the Woodmen of the World, the World War I Barracks Auxiliary and the Travis Street Church of Christ. Survivors are her husband; sons, Ronnie W. Waldo of Tyler and Robert T. Waldo of Sherman; daughter, Mrs. Naomia O'Hara of Phoenix, Arizona; stepson, John Raymond Locke of St. Louis, Missouri; step-daughter, Mrs. Algeo Fleming of Columbia, Tennessee; four grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and one step great-grandchild. Pallbearers will be Jack Howard, Buck Giles, Leonard Rea, Vernon Bedingfield, Leonard George and Ronald M. Allen.
