McBee 1865 - 1943 The Denison Press Friday, October 29, 1943 pg. 8 Last rites were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock for Mrs. J.C. McBee, 77, at the First Christ Church of Howe, LeRoy M. Anderson and Rev. Moody and Rev. Ben Hearne of Denison, Christian ministers, conducted the services. Interment was made at West Hill Cemetery. Acting as pallbearers were her grandsons, J.O., Tom, Carl, Mack, Paul and Kenneth McBee. Mrs. McBee was the mother of T.B. McBee of McKinney. She passed away at the family home in Howe, Thursday, where she had lived for 47 years; she was a loving Christian mother and companion and a large host of friends and relatives, who mourn her passing. Surviving are her husband and the following children: four sons and two daughters: T.G. McBee of this city; J.O. and Earnest McBee of Howe; J.P. McBee of Denison; Mrs. S.F. Polk of Ennis and Mrs. Alvin Curry of Denver, Colorado; 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. - - - McKinney Courier.
