Sherman - Graveside services for Harold Neal Martin, 79, were held Saturday in West Hill Cemetery with Rev. Albert Fisher of Key Memorial United Methodist Church officiating.  Arrangements were by Waldo Funeral Home.
Mr. Martin died Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at Wilson N. Jones Medical  Center.  He was born February 21, 1931 in Tom Bean, Texas to Oran and Avanelle Wetzel Martin.  He attended Tom Bean schools, graduated high school in Howe and attended the North Texas Business College.
He lived in Plainview for many years, serving as Hale County Treasurer from 1961 - 1988.  He was an active member of the Plainview Elks Lodge before moving back to Sherman in 1990.  He was a member of Key Memorial United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sisters-in-law, Betty Martin of Sherman and Sue Martin of Sanger; an uncle; 6 nephews and nieces; 7 great-nieces and nephews and 10 great-great nieces and nephews.
His parents and two brothers, John Martin of Sherman and James Martin of Sanger, are deceased.
