Sherman Daily Democrat Wednesday, March 15, 1922 pg. 5 FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. KEGANS HELD WEDNESDAY P.M. Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Alice Kegans, 54 years old, who died suddenly Tuesday morning at the family home, 421 South Montgomery street, upon receipt of the information of the death of a grandchild at Talpa, Texas, were held at Key Memorial Methodist Church Wednesday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. Mark N. Terrell, the pastor. Burial was in West Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Kegans is survived by her husband, W.N. Kegans, and the following sons and daughters: L.C. Kegans, Texarkana; R.C. Kegans, Abilene, Texas; C.P. Kegans, Sherman; Mrs. C.H. Douglas, Talpa, Texas; Mrs. C.N. Calhoun, Sherman; Miss Neva Kegans, Dallas; Miss Maggie Kegans, Sherman. Her father also survives her. He lives at Temple, Texas. The funeral was largely attended by friends of the family and many beautiful flowers were sent to the home and the grave was covered with them at West Hill.
