PIONEER GRAYSON COUNTY WOMAN PASSES TO HER REWARD
Mrs. Katherine Nichols, 56 years of age, a well known citizen of Sherman, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. O.B. Winburn, No. 816 North Willow street, Sunday morning about 9 o'clock following an extended illness.
Funeral services were held this afternoon from Mrs. Winburn's home, in the charge of Rev. Geo. F. Cuthrell, pastor of the Central Christian church, of which the deceased had long been a prominent member.  Interment was made in West Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Nichols is survived by her husband, C.G. Nichols; and three children, Andes Nichols and Mrs. O.B. Winburn of this city and Mrs. A.T. Cook of Howe.  All were at the bedside when the end came.  She is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: L. R. Mershon of Walters, Oklahoma; J.P., R.J., and H.H. Mershon of Tioga and Mrs. M.M. Morton of....
Mrs. Nichols had lived in Sherman for many years and had many friends who sincerely regret her death.  The Democrat joins these in extending its sincerest sympathies to the bereaved family.
