Mrs. Hunter, widow of J. Luke Hunter, of Sherman, died in this city last Tuesday evening at the residence of her brother, Rev. J.W. Hill.  Mrs. Hunter had been ill for several weeks and was removed to Denison only a few days before her death, in hopes the change might prove beneficial.  Heart failure was the immediate cause of dissolution.  The remains were taken to Sherman on the Interurban Wednesday where the funeral services were conducted.
Mrs. Hunter was a native of Arkansas but had resided in Sherman several years and had a large circle of friends and acquaintances.
Seven children survive her.
She was sister-in-law to the Hunter Bros. of the Sherman Democrat.  Mrs. Hunter's sons are managers of the Sherman Cosmopolitan newspaper which was the property of Mrs. Hunter.
