Clarence Arthur Wyrick, 74, died at his home, 620 South Maxey, in Sherman Wednesday at 4:40 p.m. after a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be held in the Barrett Funeral Home Friday at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Ed Barcus, pastor of the Travis Street Methodist Church, officiating, and Rev. E. L. Silliman, assisting. Burial will be in West Hill.
Mr. Wyrick was born May 20, 1872 in Jasper, Tenn., the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Wyrick. He came to Grayson county in 1891 and married Miss Ella Davis in Sherman Oct. 22, 1902. For the past several years he had been in the insurance and real estate business, and was employed by the Texas Nursery Co. He has been a member of the Travis Street Methodist Church since 1891.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ella Wyrick of Sherman; two sons, Arthur M. Wyrick of Boise, Ida., and Albert W. Wyrick of Austin; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Robert L. Whitus, Clifton Douglass, Hix Tuck, Joe Walston, Marshall Page, and W. O. Roberts.

Funeral Services Set For Mrs. Ella Wyrick

Funeral services are set Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. for Mrs. Ella M. Wyrick, 73, who died Friday noon at her residence, 620 S. Maxey. Death came suddenly.
Rev. Ed Barcus, pastor of the Travis Street Methodist Church, will officiate at the services at Barrett Chapel, with burial in West Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Wyrick was born March 1, 1879, east of Sherman. She lived in Grayson County all her life. She was the widow of Clarence Wyrick, who died in 1946, and a member of the Travis Street Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Albert Wyrick of Austin and Arthur Wyrick of Walla Walla, Wash., and one niece.
