Sherman Democrat October 7, 1965 Page 10 Mrs. Edna Wright Dies; Last Rites Planned Funeral services for Mrs. Edna Wright, Negro, of 909 N. Music St., who died Wednesday, will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in Payne Chapel, AME Church. Rev. O. A. Mitchell, pastor of the church, will conduct the services. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery, directed by Grayson Funeral Home. Mrs. Wright was born in Pilot Point, the daughter of Joe and Evie Skinner. In 1914, she married Louis Wright of Denton. She was a member of Payne Chapel AME Church. She was a music teacher. Survivors are her husband; three sons, Louis Wright Jr. of Long Beach Calif., Jerome Wright of Oakland, Calif., and Eglon Wright of Sherman; four daughters, Mrs. James Naffa of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Frederick Bryant of Lawton, Okla., Mrs. O. Fleming of Sherman and Mrs. Eugene Washington of Oakland, Calif.; two sisters, 19 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.   Sherman Democrat March 11, 1984 D11 Services for Louis Wright Sr., of 909 N. Music, 89-year-old retired Frisco Railroad employee and part time carpenter who died Wednesday in Medical Plaza Hospital, will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in Payne Chapel AME Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Boyd-Smith-White Mortuary. Rev. W. L. Coffey and A. L. Brown will officiate, with burial in West Hill Cemetery. Mr. Wright was born in Pilot Point, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Monk Wright, and married Edna Skinner in Denton County. He attended Pilot Point Public Schools and was a member of Payne Chapel AME Church. Surviving are his sons, Louis Wright of Long Beach, Calif., Eglon Wright of Sherman and Jerome Wright of Oakland, Calif.; daughters, Mrs. Zipporah Bryant of Lawton, Okla., Mrs. Onlece Fleming of Sherman and Mrs. Inez Wilson of San Diego, Calif.; 10 grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Manuel Bevels, Oscar Bevels Jr., Ray Hughley, Eglon Wright, Ernest Hunter and Monte Mask Jr. The family will be at 909 N. Music.
