Graveside services for Raymond Allen "Butch" Warden, 47-year-old retired truck driver of Sherman, will be held at
2 p.m. Saturday in the Veterans Section of West Hill Cemetery. He died Wednesday at Whitewright Nursing Home.

The Rev. James W. Garrard of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church will officiate.
Dannel Funeral Home will have charge of arrangements.
Mr. Warden was born in Buffalo, N.Y., the son of Joseph and Margaret Hoffarth Warden, and attended schools there. On Sept. 9, 1978, he married Gayle Duncan in Dallas.
He was a Korean Conflict Army veteran. Formerly of Marion County, he had lived in Sherman for two hears. He was a Baptist.
Among his survivors are his wife; daughter, Lynette Thurman of Sherman; stepdaughter, Melindie Bailey of Odessa; stepson, Terry Bailey of Dallas; brothers, James Warden and Richard Warden, both of Buffalo, N.Y. and William Warden of Sacramento, Calif.; sisters, Margaret Rindos, Fran Kohler, Grace Ortwein and Phyllis Innes, all of Buffalo; and four grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Home Hospice of Grayson County, P.O.Box 2283, Sherman, 75091-2283.
The family will be at the residence, 1200 W. Taylor, Apt.138.
