 Robert E. Walcott 9 April 1930 - 17 August 1993 Sherman Democrat August 19, 1993 A-6 Graveside services for Robert Eugene Walcott, 63, of Sherman, were held at 10 a.m. today in West Hill Cemetery. He died Wednesday at his home. Rev. Rick Johnson, minister of Central Christian Church, officiated. Dannel funeral Home was charge of arrangements. Mr. Walcott was born in Denison, the son of Theodore and Hazel Finley Walcott, and attended Denison schools. He was formerly employed as a laborer for Burlington Industries. He was a caregiver for Theodore Walcott and Raymond McCord and an award-winning poet. Among his survivors are his sisters, Doris Walcott Brewer of Denison and Betty Walcott Kellow of Gilbert, Arizona. Memorials may be made to the Central Christian Church Building Fund, 401 S.
