Grayson Tax Deputy Dies of Crash Hurts

SHERMAN, Texas, Feb. 14. - Marvin Templeton, deputy in the Grayson County Tax Assessor-Collector's office, died Monday night at a Sherman hospital.
Templeton was injured a week ago in a head-on collision north of Sherman on Highway 75. Driver of the car was Collier Yeury, Grayson County Tax Assessor-Collector. Yeury and his wife, and Pemplepon and his wife were on the way to Denison. The other three are still in the hospital.
Funeral services probably will be held Wednesday.

Marvin E. Templeton (male, white, married) passed away at Wilson N. Jones Hospital, Sherman, Grayson County, Texas on February 14, 1938.
He resided at 504 West Belden St., Sherman, Texas.
Marvin E. Templeton was married to Mrs. Lola Lee Templeton and was Deputy Tax Collector. 
He was born April 9, 1901 in Bells, Texas, son of A.P. Templeton and Nannie E. Pitts.
The informant was Mrs. A.P. Templeton, Bells, Texas.
The cause of death a head injury, fracture right femur. The injuries were due to an automobile accident February 7, 1938 on Higway 75 between Sherman and Denison.
Burial was at West Hill Cemetery February 16, 1938 under the direction of Talley Funeral Home, Sherman, Texas.
